I don't know how old you are, or what grade level your Flash Fundamentals class is... but if I was your teacher/professor I would be depressed that all I was able to teach a student was how to string pre-made sprites along a timeline with a button.

Hope the class was free.

I enjoyed this.
Sure, the illustration was crude and the animation itself was choppy (the fist thing towards the end was great though, especially for you first time)... but this has a definite jeux ne sai quoi about it.
You had something in your mind that you just had to get out, so much so that you ventured into an intimidating, unfamiliar medium to express it. Respect.

Thanks! A challenge for sure, but the idea was there and would not allow me to quit! Your review is appreciated very much.

Solid animation, voice-acting, and style. Loveable, Saturday-morning-cartoon feel.
Heh heh. Front page is your destination. Well done.

I really wish there was a way to like comments. You = Awesome.

Even your best sprite battle is still a sprite battle.
"Shadow was stuck on the pipe because an Green Cap Idiot fold the pipe inside." ...What?

Certainly not a bad story. Could have used a little more illustration and animation.
I liked it.

Adam, you just raised the bar for every animator who employs image files and computer-generated voices in their cartoons. Folks typically seem to use those things out of sheer laziness and lack of creativity, and for the longest time I have hated anything that used.

But no more. You melted my heart and freed my mind. You did it right - this is seriously one of the most creative, enjoyable, trippy things I have watched in a long time. I feel great. Thank you so much.

Haha. Not bad, man. Really don't see too many honest and/or feel-good animations on NG.
Your animation was solid and simple, with a few good tricks, and while I don't really care for uplifting pop music per se, the music really fit and did your art justice.

I love the style of your artwork - it seems like your took your time with it but didn't become so involved as to neglect a unique, cartoon feel. That same quality is reflected in the slow, smooth pace of the story and the animation itself.

This is the first animation you've submitted to NG, but it is clearly not the first animation you have ever done. Do you perhaps animate for work, or school or just publish through different venues?

I think this is a solid entry for the contest. Good luck, I hope it does as well as it deserves.

Thanks for the input. I just finished my first year of a 4 year animation program in college. I've done some tradition animation for school, and a couple of quick and simple Flash projects, but this is the first finished Animation I've done in Flash.

Had a damn good laugh. The dialogue was well-written, the voice acting was up to par, and your art style was conducive to the feel of it all.

Sorry, I haven't watched the first one. Yet. However, this was enthralling, easy enough to follow, and enjoyable without having to know any kind of back story. Take that as a testament to its overall quality. Great job.

The voice-acting was good and it went well with the overall art style (the tried and true, devil-may-care, "let's -just-animate-this-bitch" style). I think Skyrim is just going to be one of those things that people will always want to see parodies of.
I kept thinking that it was going to end at any second, but this thing just kept on ticking. Definitely impressed.
