Don't conform! Don't conform!

Rated 5 / 5 stars

This is excellent and is something that, sadly, bears repeating with each generation.

You can ignore NeonSpider's drivel of a review down below. Seems like he got on a high horse and never came off. Like seriously, he got waaay into some SJW shit there, lol.

You've never failed to hit us right in the noodle with your wit and masterful composition and delivery. Keep up the great work, pal, you're making our days better!

Drowning Drowning

There are far worse ways to go. Far worse things to drown in.
Try as you might to evoke morbidity and despair (that cheap paper really did its part in keeping things hazy, dark, and nightmarish) I'm comfortable with this.

Also - not to be neglected - excellent hands. Too many people phone-in hands because they're surprisingly complicated for things that are really just pads with five wieners attached to them flailing on a cluster of bones. You even got that sweet articulation of palmaris longus in there.

radiodark responds:

Aw, thanks! I love hands- they're super expressive and not really /that/ hard to draw, not when you can use your own hands for reference.

Beauty and the beast Beauty and the beast

Rated 5 / 5 stars

The scissor blade beneath the skin behind that eye... holy hell. You two make a twisted pair and this is the proof.

The strokes for shading and depth and texture (especially the wood) are so fine that they can be taken for granted, and thus we're all left having to stare those two hideous expressions. They're absolutely perfect in how they convey a shared delight and cruelty. The eye is drawn more slowly down to the dark corner of the piece, with the sad, mutilated little guy, and that effectually creates the sense of something horrific dawning slowly on the viewer. For that reason, this transcends a mere portrayal of the subject matter, and forces a genuine moment of grim discovery onto the viewer.

Thank you so much for this rad painting, it's really made my day and I'm sure I'll come back to it often. Well done all around.

The Beauty is the Beast The Beauty is the Beast

Rated 3.5 / 5 stars

This is a really cool concept and I think you did an excellent job illustrating a range of textures and materials. The pose you chose for the finished version is perfect, and the despondent expression was a great choice, especially with the mechanical pinky making that cutesy gesture. Ugh, and those vaginal drippings are just wretched.

ZaneZansorrow responds:

My favorite part is the organs and the leg :3

You (poorly) traced a photograph and uploaded it to the art portal?
Really, dude?
You are the worst.

Karo-Korp responds:

I poorly traced a photograph and uploaded it to my profile, not the art portal, which you must have consciously navigated to.

Yes really.

You're the worst.
