Newgrounds allowing new video formats is not an invitation to treat Newgrounds like Youtube. Please post your live-action films (with little and no CG or animation) to Youtube.

HenryLong responds:

Thanx for the input. The only reason I put live action on newgrounds was because I saw a video via kickstarter showing a newgrounds developement project called "the forsaken city" which said that newgrounds is now developed for live action content aswell. Its not like Im going to put no effort into my work. I am going to put more effort into my work just to satisfy the newgrounds audience, but its just that I didnt grow up having a good background in animation

Pretty good for your first animation. I think you did a great job with the expressions, you were able to convey a lot of thought and feeling with subtle and simple gestures. It was certainly something many of us can relate to, with the addition of that final comedic stress in the cafe.

I think the cartoon overall can benefit from some better audio, or at least audio that's a bit more muted. Hope this helps, and thanks for sharing with us!

Samnosca responds:

thank you for the feedback:)!
i really appreciate it

Loved it from the first second.

It had everything I could want in a short action toon - cars, guns, smack-talk, violence and comraderie. The vehicular animations in particular were excellent. Really liked the combat (you kept it quick and graphic, didn't linger needlessly in a four minute stick figure kung-fu showdown). The dialogue overall was pretty decent and there were a couple good one-liners in there.

By all means do keep producing these, I predict they'll be received well. I know this one certainly made my day. Thanks so much for your hard work and for sharing this.

maniacmark responds:

thank you very much my friend

A total trip, brother. Thank you so much.
Your color palette and choice of music were excellent, and you've succeeded again in taking us somewhere beyond our mundane, conscious selves into the beautiful, horrifying reality of our own minds.
This kind of thing definitely isn't for everyone (especially thems that need sonic and megaman sprite movies to live, or a whacky zelda or mario parody for that matter), but for those of us to whom it can reach it is gold. Never stop doing what you're doing, we love you so much.

golfinho responds:

I had no idea that this movie was so good.

Solid as always, Lobsty. Not that this needs a 100% realistic depiction of life, but I thought the scene in the doctor's office was a bit off because when my doctor installed my rectal computer he had both hands on the back of my neck....

Sexual-Lobster responds:

what did he use to insert the recta- oh....

Great work all around, guys. This is the type and quality of stuff that got me into Newgrounds to begin with.
A lot love and work obviously went into this - all the fleshed out backgrounds, character designs and frame-by-frame animation. Small things like Link doing a flip when he leaves the school, and the keeping with his shadow as the moon looms over him are easy to overlook and definitely not appreciated by those who haven't ever been there, pouring attention and energy into something that will only be on screen for a small portion of a second.

I think you all make a great team and this was a real pleasure to watch. Sorry about your diabetes RamboJoe, hope you've been feeling better and that you won't let it keep you from future projects. Much love.

kalabor106 responds:

Thanks glad you seen the time we put into it.

Heh heh heh heh heh...
Not bad. Happy new year.

YULFO83 responds:

thanks dude. same to you. Love the name. haha

No hat because you can't figure out how to illustrate one onto 4 sprite frames.

Hyoxjnn responds:

lol
Actually I did, but I really couldn't be bothered...
I am disappoint in myself...

Heh heh. Voted 5 as soon as I saw the dicks.
Keep up the great work.

TheLoyalMeat responds:

Haha glad to see the flying dicks are you kind of thing

I enjoyed this.
Sure, the illustration was crude and the animation itself was choppy (the fist thing towards the end was great though, especially for you first time)... but this has a definite jeux ne sai quoi about it.
You had something in your mind that you just had to get out, so much so that you ventured into an intimidating, unfamiliar medium to express it. Respect.

soLoKii responds:

Thanks! A challenge for sure, but the idea was there and would not allow me to quit! Your review is appreciated very much.
